Every year we seem to be inundated with pop-up ads, banner ads, and all kinds of ads on social media. And while this type of advertising can be effective, it can also get a bit much, especially when you’re seeing the same thing over and over again. A solution to this dilemma may be just a few clicks away. Introducing… Pop Ups with Clickfunnels.

If you’re serious about growing your traffic and making money online, it’s time to consider creating pop-ups or animated scrolling banner ads (sometimes called “featured ads” in the Google Ads world). These will essentially play an integral part in getting your business’ name out there to potential customers.

You see, when someone clicks on a popup or banner ad, they’re taken to a “landing page” where they can learn more about your product or service. For the sake of this blog post, I’ll assume you’re selling a product or service online. If you’re curious about creating pop-ups for social media, check out our Free Code Academy Mini Course.

What Exactly Are Pop-ups and Banner Ads?

As the name implies, a pop-up will appear in the middle of your screen, popping up briefly before sliding back down. This type of ad usually appears in a colorful, eye-catching display and can be interactive and/or animated. A banner ad, on the other hand, will simply scroll across the screen until it reaches the end, where it stops and stays until you dismiss it by clicking on it or another part of the page.

Both banner and pop-up ads give you the advantage of using the same call-to-action (CTA) buttons (e.g., “Buy Now,” “Learn More,” “Get Started”) across multiple platforms. So if someone clicks on your ad, they’ll be taken to the same landing page on your website to complete a purchase, sign up for a free trial, or call your phone service provider for support.

Why Use Pop-ups And Banner Ads?

You may be wondering why you should make the switch to pop-ups and banner ads when you have a perfectly good web page that you’ve already built. The answer is simple: conversion. Going back to our example above, if someone clicks on a popup or banner ad and makes it all the way to your landing page, you can be sure that they’re interested in what you have to offer. And once they’ve reached that point, you can pretty much guarantee that they’ll be inclined to make a purchase, take out a trial, or connect with you on social media.

As a business owner, marketer, or Internet entrepreneur, you’ll find yourself in the often daunting position of trying to figure out how to make money online. There are several options available, and while some are more profitable than others, you’ll eventually want to find the one that makes you money and allows you to continue growing your website or blog.

If you’re looking for a simple way to make money online, you don’t have to look any further. Just plug in your product or service, enter your email address, and you’re good to go. Within minutes, you’ll start seeing offers from top companies like ClickFunnels, which I’ll discuss below.

How Do I Create A Pop-up With ClickFunnels?

As the name implies, the process of creating a popup with ClickFunnels is pretty straightforward. You’ll simply need to log in to your account and then click on the button that says “Create a Free Campaign.”

A new window will pop up and ask you to select a template that you’d like to use for your campaign. As you might expect, you’ll find several templates that you can select from, but the catch is that not all of the templates are suitable for creating pop-ups. So you’ll need to make a decision based on your particular circumstances. One great thing about this choice is that you can always change your mind and select a different template later on.

For our purposes, we’ll select the eCommerce template. Then, you’ll need to decide what you want your landing page to be called and click on the blue “Add Another Page” button.

A new page will appear. You can either give it a title or just leave it blank. Either way, it doesn’t matter as you can always rename it later on.

The next step is to enter the URL of the page that you want visitors to reach when they click on your ad or pop-up. Remember: You’ll need to have published at least one web page on your site in order to create a POP UP with ClickFunnels.

Now, let’s say that you want to create a popup that’s going to advertise a product that is designed to help homeowners restore their kitchens and bathrooms. So you’ll want to enter `www.kitchenbathroomrestorationplan.com` into the URL field above.

Back in the eCommerce template, you’ll want to move down to the “Shop Online” section. Here, you can select either a liquid or solid theme and add your preferred products (e.g., Kitchen Aid, Kohler, etc.) to the cart.

As you might imagine, there are several options when it comes to the products that you can include in your cart. So this is something that you’ll have to decide based on your own particular circumstances. Remember: If you’ve never ordered any products from an online store, this can be a bit overwhelming. That’s why I’d recommended starting with just a few products and then adding more later on.

Why Should I Use ClickFunnels To Create My Pop-ups?

The answer to this question is actually quite simple. Like I mentioned above, conversion is key online. And what is conversion? It is defined as the “act of converting visitors into customers or leads for a business.” In plain English, this means that you want to get as many people as possible to actually make a purchase once they’ve clicked on your ad or pop-up.

One of the major benefits of using ClickFunnels to create your banner and pop-up ads is that the process is actually pretty easy. Another great thing is that you can always go back and make changes at any time. In case you’re wondering, you can also export a POP UP to other platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
