The ClickFunnels popup is incredibly annoying and can be a major point of confusion for anyone using the platform. I get it. I really do. But there are ways to get rid of these obnoxious popups without losing access to important account information. Let’s dive in.
Block Popups From Account Area
The first step to removing the annoyance of a ClickFunnels popup is to simply block them from appearing in the first place. To do this, open the Settings page and scroll down to the bottom. You’ll see three options presented to you:
Uncheck the boxes next to the options you don’t want to see. Then, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Delete The Cookies
The next step in ridding yourself of a ClickFunnels popup is to delete the cookies the platform might’ve left behind. To do this, open your browser’s cookie file and remove all the cookies related to ClickFunnels. You’ll need to repeat this process for all your browsers as some cookies can be rather persistent. Once you’ve done this, refresh your browser and login to your account (if you’re still using the same email address).
Disable Email Alerts
Another thing you can do to remove annoyance from your account is to disable any email alerts you receive from the platform. These alerts will pop up whenever you login to your account or check your email, and will interrupt your browsing experience. The good news is you can disable these alerts by clicking the downward-pointing arrow next to the email address in your account settings.
Remove The Annoying Popup On Mobile
The last step to removing the annoyance of a ClickFunnels popup is to remove it from your mobile device. This can be done quite easily by simply changing your phone’s settings. Under iOS, you’ll need to go to Safari and edit the Mobile Website Settings. Under Android, you’ll need to visit the Settings app and change the default website for all web browsers.
Once you’ve done this, refresh your browser (or mobile device) and login to your account (if you’re still using the same email address). You should now be able to browse the site without any annoying popovers appearing on mobile.
I know these tips seem pretty straightforward, but I’ve seen people having a hard time figuring out why their Popups keep appearing. Hopefully, this post will help clear up some of the confusion.
