At some point in your business journey, you will likely encounter the need to change the history of your ClickFunnels account. Maybe you have tried out a new product or service, and you need to reset your preferences to reflect the change. Or, maybe you simply want to remove a product that you know does not represent your company’s values. Regardless of the reason for needing to change the history of your account, it is a necessary step that you must take to ensure that your account remains clean of any suspicious activity that may harm your company’s reputation.
Reset Email Preferences
The first thing to do when you need to change the history of your ClickFunnels account is to log into your email settings and modify the emails that you have received over the last six months, as well as any that will come in the future.
You can use the search bar in the upper-right corner of your account page to look for specific emails, or you can click on the Mail icon at the top of the page and browse your emails there.
Either way, you will need to click on the Email Preferences link in the upper-right corner of the screen to be directed to your email settings.
The next thing to do when you need to change the history of your ClickFunnels account is to click on the Password link in the upper-right corner of the screen. This will bring up the Change Password page, where you can select a new password for your account.
You must be careful not to choose a password that is too easy to guess, or that can be easily hacked. If you use the same password for other accounts, it becomes even more important to choose a secure one for your ClickFunnels account. A good rule of thumb is to choose a password that is different from your user name and is at least eight characters long.
Be careful not to write down your password, as this could potentially create a security problem if someone were to access your notebook or desktop computer while you are logged into your account.
After you have entered your new password, click on the Verify Password button to ensure that you entered it correctly. If you cannot verify your password, click on the Forgot Password link to have a new one sent to you.
Remove Tricky Words
If you feel that certain words are harming your business’s reputation or being used in a way that does not reflect your brand’s values, you can go through your emails one by one and remove them. You can also do this in bulk by going through your Favorites and applying a quick mass-delete function. The advantage of this approach is that you can be sure that your account will remain clean of any questionable content, as well as that you are keeping your existing readers engaged.
This is a great way to ensure that your customers remain loyal to your brand, as well as to provide your business with a better image.
After you have changed your password and removed all the suspicious content from your email, you can lock your account by clicking on the Locked icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Doing this prevents unauthorized users from accessing your account while you are away from your computer.
This will also prevent anyone from accidentally accessing your account if they click on a link in an email or social media post and are not aware that your account has been locked. When you lock your account, you also need to verify that the email you use to log in is, in fact, the one associated with your account. To do this, click on the Mail icon at the top of the page and select the option to Use my own email address to log in.
This will take you back to the home page, where you can review your account settings and click on the Log out button to log out of your account.
Review & Check References
On the other side of the coin, if you are considering trying out a new product or service and want to make sure that it is reputable and safe to use, you can click on the References link in the upper-right corner of the screen. This will bring you to a page where you can see all of the customer references (if any) for the product or service you are interested in using.
You can click on the View All, Read All, or Watch All links for more information about the product or service, or you can click on the Customer Reviews link to have a look at what other customers have said about the product or service.
Keep in mind that not all references are created equal. There are many products and services out there that have many positive reviews but few negative ones. Do not solely rely on references to judge the quality of a product or service.
To make sure that your business stays profitable, you need to work hard to maintain an edge over your competition. One way to do this is by taking extra care to protect your company’s reputation. Changing the history of your account is an easy way to ensure that your customers remain loyal to your brand and to verify that your business is, indeed, a high-quality operation.
