What is a clickpop URL? A clickpop URL (i.e. a clickable, single link) is a link that, when clicked, opens up a new browser tab or window and redirects the user to another site. Essentially, you’re generating extra revenue by having a third-party click on your affiliate link (or product review or blog post or whatever you want to promote).

Doesn’t that sound great? You can use clickfunnels to automatically generate a clickpop URL for your landing page and start earning money today! I’ll show you how.

Create A Landing Page

You’ll want to create a single, standalone page that is simply a landing page. So, if you’re using WordPress, simply go to SettingsReadingAdd New and choose Landing page from the WordPress dropdown.

You don’t need to put too much effort into this page. As a matter of fact, it’s a good idea not to overdo it. It should be simple, yet eye-catching enough to draw potential customers to your site. Remember: you’re competing against thousands of other sites so make sure your landing page stands out.

Add Your Affiliate Links

Now, you’ll want to add your affiliate links to the page. You can put them in one of two places: above the fold or below the fold. Above the fold is best because it’s in view as soon as the user opens up your page. So, if you’ve got a wide area above the fold, you can fit a lot of links in there. Alternatively, you can put the links below the fold. However, this may mean that the user has to scroll down to access them. So, you want to put the links as high up on the page as possible without being obnoxious or annoying.

For example, let’s say you’re selling t-shirts and you’re using Amazon’s affiliate program. You can put the Amazon affiliate link in the header above the fold on your landing page. Alternatively, you could put the link below the fold in a spot that’s not too far down. Don’t bury it in the text, either. The more prominent the better.

Configure The Links

Once you’ve got your affiliate links in place, you’ll want to click on Create to continue. You’ll then be presented with a pop-up window listing all of the items in your account. Simply go to each item and click on the Edit button. When you’re done, click on Submit changes.

Now, you’ll see a new page with all of your updated items. Look at the top right corner of the page; you’ll see a gear icon. Click on this gear icon to go to your Settings page. From here, you can see all of your product links along with a few other options.

At the very top of your Settings page, you’ll see a small green plus icon. Click on this icon to display all of the pages that you can edit. Hover over each link to see a pop-up describing the page’s purpose.

Let’s say, for example, that you’re editing the Storefront page. This is the landing page for your retail store; it’s the home page for your eCommerce store. The main purpose of this page is to generate sales. So, you can put a clickable affiliate link in the middle of the page just above the fold.

As a matter of fact, you can put a link in the footer, as well. Just remember: you’ll want to keep your footer short and sweet. While it’s great to have an affiliate link at the very end, it doesn’t do much.

Make Sure The Links Are Good

When you’ve got a lot of links on your page, it’s important to make sure that they’re all working properly. You can put the Amazon affiliate link in the header above the fold on your Landing page and it should automatically redirect to the correct product. Alternatively, you can put the link below the fold and it should still work but, again, make sure that it’s not too far down.

If the link goes somewhere funny or unexpected, it can detour a customer from coming back to your site. It’s also possible that the affiliate program could blacklist your account if you have an improper link. So, make sure your links are good and try to keep them above the fold if you can. Don’t put them in the footer or at the very end of the page because some browsers don’t always show it there.

The Final Step

Once you’ve got your affiliate links in place and they’re displaying correctly, simply go back to Your Store and click on Products. You’ll then see a pop-up describing the products in your store. When you’re done, click on Apply coupon to see the discounted price.

If you want, you can click on a product to see more information. Once you’ve seen enough, you can click on Buy now to go to the retail page or click on Checkout to go to the online store.

Or, if you want to test the loyalty program, you can simply click on the Join now button to go to the join page. From here, you can choose whether to opt-in for the loyalty program or not. If you decide to join, you’ll automatically get credits when you make a purchase. You can then use those credits to purchase products in the future. Just remember: you have to opt-in for the program to receive the credits. So, make sure you do it on one of the pages that you’ve edited.
