Do you want to be notified as soon as a new lead comes in, no matter where you are in the world? It’s possible! With a bit of patience, you can set up any number of email notifications, which you can then tie into your affiliate program. Let’s get started.
Set Up Email Notifications
The first step to getting automated notifications is to set up email notifications. To do this, click on the GET NOTICES tab at the top of the page. From here, you can input your email address and select how you’d like to be notified (details below in the next section).
You can choose from a variety of ways to be notified. For example, you can sign up to be notified of new blog posts, or new membership signups, or even new advertisements (lots of people use MailChimp for this).
Get ClickFunnels Notifications From Blog Posts
If you’d like to be notified of new blog posts, you can use the RSS feed button to subscribe to the Blogger’s RSS Feed. Then, using your RSS reader, you’ll be notified of any new posts. For example, if you’re using Feedly, you can click the RSS feed button at the top of any Blogger post (not just the homepage), and you’ll be taken to your RSS reader, where you can subscribe to the post and continue reading.
Set Up Email Notifications Based On A Membership Purchase
If you’d like to be notified of membership signups, you can do this using the Autoresponder. Visit the Settings page (you can find this by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right corner of any page), and then select the Membership section. You can then select the type of membership you have (individual, family, or business) and set how you’d like to be notified (i.e., by email, text message, or both).
You can use the same process to sign up for a free trial of any product or service, and then set how you’d like to be notified about the trial’s end (e.g., by email, text message, or both). This is a great way to get notified about new leads, as long as you can keep your email address consistent throughout the trial.
Get Blogger Notifications Via Twitter
If you utilize Twitter, you can get notifications of new blog posts via a variety of ways. First, you can use the Twitter search box to type in keywords or hashtags that match the blog posts you’re trying to find (e.g., #sales, #marketing, or #advice). Then, you can click the blue heart icon to the far right of the tweet to see a more detailed description of the post. You can then click the retweet icon to the far right of the tweet to have the author of the tweet share the post with his or her followers. You can also click the little flag icon next to the retweet icon to see if the author of the tweet has previously shared similar content.
Get E-Commerce Site Notifications From Affiliate Programs
If you’re an affiliate marketer, you can get clickfunnels affiliate notifications from your e-commerce site. To do this, click on the Get Notices link at the top of the page and then select the E-Commerce option. You can input your affiliate ID, and select how you’d like to be notified (e.g., new product launches, new blog posts, etc.).
As an affiliate marketer with clickfunnels, you’ll be able to get notifications of new sales, and new leads, as soon as they happen. This can help you grow your affiliate earnings quickly.
Set Up Text Notifications
An opt-in text notification is a few words or a short phrase that you send out to people who’ve given you their email address. For example, you can tell your followers that you’ve got an amazing offer running right now for this or that product (or service). You can then include an affiliate link so that they can get the discount when they click through to your link (e.g., www.Amazon.com/some-title ).
You can use the same process to set up text notifications about upcoming events or news pieces you think they’ll be interested in. Just remember, you can only send these out to people who’ve given you their email address, so make sure you’ve got the rights to do this (i.e., the email address isn’t on any inactive lists or lists that you don’t actually want to send the information to).
Set Up Email Notifications Based On Advertisements
Advertisers can use the same tool to get notifications about their ads that run on websites and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.). To do this, click on the Get Notices link at the top of the page and then select the Advertisements option. You can then select the type of advertisement you’ve got (e.g., text link, display advertisement, or video advertisement) and how you’d like to be notified (e.g., by email, text message, or both).
The great thing about this option is that it gives you complete control over which emails you receive. You can choose to receive notifications about any type of advertisement that runs on a site you’re subscribed to, or you can choose to only get notified about specific types of advertisements (e.g., display advertisements that have a link, or sponsored posts on social media sites).
Choosing to get notifications about certain types of advertisements on your blog means you may see some variations of the same advertisement on different websites. You can then decide if you want to stop receiving these notifications or if you want to be able to track which sites are running the advertisements so that you can analyze which ones are performing best (in terms of web traffic, sales, and/or leads).
What About Phone Notifications?
Depending on your niche and how you choose to market yourself, you may want to get phone notifications as well. To do this, click on the Get Notices link at the top of the page and then select the Phone option. You can then select which types of phone notifications you’d like to receive (e.g., new blog posts, new product launches, or new service announcements).
You can use the same process to get notifications about events and news pieces that you think might be of interest. Just remember that phone notifications can be a little more difficult to set up than email notifications because you have to confirm your phone number with the person you’re sending the notification to (so they know where to reach you).
Keep all of this in mind, and you’re sure to set up all of the notifications you need to get the leads you need to succeed.
