If you’re looking for a free option to accept payments with PayPal, then you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll teach you how to integrate PayPal into your ClickFunnels account so you can start accepting payments right away.
The Basics Of Integrating PayPal With Your Account
Before you begin integrating PayPal with your account, you need to make sure that you’ve followed the right steps. To begin, log into your ClickFunnels account, and navigate to the left side of the page.
Here you’ll find a dropdown menu named Account Settings. From here, you can choose to continue to the PayPal page or logout and come back later.
If you decide to go to the PayPal page, you’ll see a banner at the top of the page with a link to continue to the PayPal Integration page.
On this page, you’ll choose your primary method of accepting payments (i.e. credit card, PayPal, or both).
Additionally, you can choose to have PayPal handle all the payments or have you make the majority of the payments yourself.
Then, if you want to try out PayPal, you can click the Continue button to get started.
Setting Up A Paypal Account
To get started using PayPal, you’ll need to create a PayPal account. If you already have a PayPal account, you can use the “Login as a guest” option to get started with your ClickFunnels account.
To create a PayPal account, you must provide a physical address, email address, and an authenticating password.
Once you’ve created your PayPal account, you can use the email address and password you supplied to log into your new account.
As an optional step, you can choose to have PayPal manage all your account settings for you (i.e. make the payment decisions, send out invoices, etc.). If you do elect to have your account managed by PayPal, there’s no need to continue to the next section.
Configuring Your Paypal Integration
Once you’ve created your PayPal account and logged into your ClickFunnels account, you can start configuring your paypal integration. If you’d like, you can choose to have your PayPal account receive payments via credit card or via direct deposit into your bank account (if you have one, which we hope you do).
You’ll then see a menu of options at the top of the page.
To begin, you can select either Credit Card or PayPal as your method of payment. If you choose PayPal, you’ll then be brought to a page that looks like this:
From here you can choose the amount of notice you’d like to give customers before their payment is processed. The default is “Standard,” which means your customers will receive an email confirmation once their payment is received. You can change this option to “Instant Confirmation” if you’d like to receive payment processing notifications right away when a customer makes a payment. Just remember: this will cost you something in terms of fees from PayPal. In general, you’ll want to choose the Standard option to avoid unexpected fees.
Adding A PayPal Button To Your Website
If you’d like to try out PayPal on your site, you can add a PayPal button very easily. Just click on the “Get Started” button on the PayPal page, and you’ll be brought to a page that looks like this:
From here, you can copy the html for the button, paste it into your site, and start accepting payments!
If you decide to accept payments with PayPal, you should have no trouble generating sales from your site. With PayPal, all you need is a simple button to provide your customers with an easy way to pay you. In this manner, you can avoid the hassles of getting a merchant account and the possible fees that come with it.
