Today I’ll walk you through the process of setting up the test account for your product, building a few funnels, and testing the software. This article will be published in two parts. In the first part, I’ll provide you with the step-by-step instructions on how to set up the test account. Then in the second part, we’ll dive into some of the key features of ClickFunnels and how to leverage them to their fullest potential.
How to Set Up A Test Account
Before we begin, it’s important to note that you can’t actually use the ClickFunnels software to its fullest potential until you’ve set up a test account. This simply means that you’ll need to visit the website builder’s dashboard, where you can create test websites, write blog posts, and generally do all the things you can think of without incurring any fees. Setting up a test account is free, and it only takes a few minutes to do.
To set up a test account, navigate to the dashboard and click on the + symbol in the upper right-hand corner to launch the dashboard’s popup. Then, from the array of services offered, click on the “Create Test Account” button to go ahead and set up a test account.
You’ll then need to log in to your test account and click the “Manage Subscription” link inside the left panel. Here’s where you can change the email address associated with your account and update the credit card information if needed.
Why Should You Test Your Product Before Going Live?
The main purpose behind creating a test account is to give you some peace of mind. When you launch a product or service into the world, it’s always a risky move. The fact is no one knows how many problems you could encounter along the way. Setting up a test account allows you to experiment and discover any glitches before your product goes live.
This way, you can minimize the number of problems you encounter while launching your product or service. It’s always a good idea to try out new products and services before having large groups of people using them. If you do encounter any problems, you’ll have a record of what happened and can work toward fixing them before you go live with your product or service.
How To Build Funnels Safely Using A Test Account
Now that you have a test account, you can begin to experiment with ClickFunnels. One of the first things you’ll want to do is log in to your dashboard and click on the “Create New Funnel” button. This will take you to the funnels page, where you can create a new funnel by simply entering a name for the funnel in the “Name” box and then clicking the blue “Create” button.
While we’re here, let’s add a few more funnels to build a more complete picture. To do this, navigate to the dashboard and click on the “Create New Funnel” button again. This time, instead of using the default options to create a new funnel, we’ll enter some more specific details about the type of funnel we’re building.
In the “Name” box, enter “Membership” and then click on the “Create” button to go ahead and create your first membership funnel.
As you can see, when you create a new funnel using the default options, the dashboard will present you with a pre-made template that you can customize.
However, if you need to build a specific type of funnel, you can always go back and edit the template. You don’t have to rush into anything, as you can always come back later and make changes to the template.
To edit the template, simply click on the “Template” link inside the left panel of the dashboard. This will take you to the “Templates” area of the dashboard, where you can select the template you’d like to use. From here, you can make changes to the template by simply editing the text boxes and clicking on the blue “Save” button at the top of the page.
Now that you have a basic understanding of how to create a test account and build funnels using ClickFunnels, let’s take a look at a few more features you can utilize to your advantage.
How To Use Event And Webinar Funnels
One of the best things about ClickFunnels is the diversity of funnels you can create. One of the more popular types of funnels is the event or webinar funnel. With this type of funnel, you can attract visitors to your website by offering them free or paid seminars or webinars on a range of topics.
To create an event funnel, click on the “Create New Funnel” button, enter “Event” as the name of your funnel, and then click the “Create” button to go ahead and create your event funnel.
As you can see, when you create an event funnel, you’ll see a series of question prompts. The good thing is you don’t have to answer these questions. If you need help, you can always look up the answers online or contact support for assistance. This is typically a safe way to learn how to use the software.
How To Use An Affiliate Funnel
An affiliate funnel allows you to connect your product or service to a network of marketers and bloggers. When someone clicks a sales link or buys a product that’s promoted using your affiliate badge, you’ll earn a commission.
Creating an affiliate funnel is pretty straightforward. First, go to the dashboard and click on the “Create New Funnel” button. Then, in the “Name” box, enter “Affiliate” and click on the “Create” button to go ahead and create your affiliate funnel.
You’ll then need to select an affiliate program from the dropdown menu. There are hundreds of affiliate programs to choose from, so you’ll probably have to do a bit of research to find the right one for your needs.
Once you’ve chosen the affiliate program you’ll then need to link your product or service to it. To do this, navigate to the dashboard and click on the “Products” tab. Here you can link an existing product or create a new product using the “+” icon at the top of the page.
Then, in the “Name” box, enter the Product’s name and click the “Create” button to go ahead and create the product.
The last step is to choose an affiliate program for the product you’ve just created. To do this, navigate to the dashboard and click on the “Products” tab. You’ll then see the various affiliate programs for the product you’ve chosen. Select the one you want to use and then click on the “Manage Partners” button at the top of the page.
Here’s where you can enter the credentials of an affiliate partner you want to work with. You can also upload an affiliate link which will be used to promote the product you’ve created.
How To Use A Custom Funnel
You can also create a custom funnel, which is basically a funnel with a pre-made template. This way you can have a quick and easy way to create different types of funnels without having to go through the process of creating a new template each time.
To create a custom funnel, navigate to the dashboard and click on the “Create New Funnel” button. Then, in the “Name” box, enter a name for the funnel (e.g. “Daily Blog Post”) and click on the “Create” button to go ahead and create your custom funnel.
Once you’ve created the custom funnel, you can add an optin form to the bottom to capture email addresses. Then, you can connect this to a SaaS (software as a service) product you’ve bought or built into the software.
You can use email marketing to send out a series of emails to new subscribers who’ve signed up to receive messages from you. To add a signup form to your email marketing automation campaign, navigate to the dashboard and click on the “Marketing” tab. Then, in the “Contact” section, you’ll see a form with the label “Sign up for the Mailing List”.
