I’m sure you’ve heard of ClickFunnels by now. If you haven’t, it’s probably time you should have. Funnel Madness would like to introduce you to the power of ClickFunnels and their amazing free templates. This article will discuss how you can use a landing page template from ClickFunnels to create a lead magnet for your business.

What is a Lead Magnet?

A lead magnet is something that attracts potential customers to your business. In the past, businesses that sold products or services would distribute informational flyers, pitch books, business cards, or even offer free samples of their products. Today, with the shift towards digital marketing, lead magnets take the form of an online course, PDF document, or checklist.

Although the way you present your lead magnet will vary based on the platform you use to distribute it to your audience, the general concept behind a lead magnet is to provide valuable information or content to potential customers in exchange for their contact details. When you have their contact details, you can then follow up with a personalized pitch to convince them to become a paying customer. A lead magnet can also function as an easy way to re-engage an audience that’s been absent for a while due to the pandemic.

Why Use a Template from ClickFunnels?

Funnel Madness would like to congratulate ClickFunnels for creating such a valuable product that serves the informational needs of small businesses like ours. Through their extensive library of landing page templates, you can create an attractive, functional, and user-friendly page that will encourage potential customers to subscribe to your channel or buy your product. If you’ve ever shopped at Nordstrom, you may have noticed people dressed in casual Fridays offering to help you find the perfect gifts for your loved ones. That’s because Nordstrom’s online store utilizes a landing page template similar to ClickFunnels and other eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Big Commerce.

If you want to create a lead magnet that attracts customers to your site, you can use the same principles to build a simple and elegant page that will encourage them to subscribe to your channel and make a purchase. Don’t get me wrong, your average Pinterest or Instagram feed full of pretty much useless information will still attract your audience, but the key is in the value you’re providing and the convenience of the information.

How to Use the ClickFunnels Landing Page Template

To get started, visit the homepage of the ClickFunnels landing page template and click the big red button that reads, “Create a Free Account”. This will take you to their registration page where you can enter a username and password. At this point, you can choose to register with a social media account or create a new email address (preferably a Gmail account).

Once you have a Gmail account, you can take advantage of the fact that Google automatically separates your personal emails from your work-related emails. This means you can use your Gmail for both Gmail and Google Docs and never have to worry about your company emails being associated with your personal accounts.

Let’s say you’ve just created a new Google Account and want to use this to register for the ClickFunnels template. To begin, log into Google Docs and create a new document. In this example, we’ll call it “Blog article”.

Now that you have a new Google Account, you can access this document using the browser. Next, head over to your email and look for the Welcome email you just received from Google. Click the link in that email and it will take you to a page that looks like this:

As you can see, Google has now tied your Google Account to the Gmail you used to create this document. Next, you can click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen and choose the settings tab. From here, you can choose the account you want to associate your new Google Account with. To finish the registration process, click the red “Create Account” button.

Once you have a free account with ClickFunnels, you can use their powerful software to build, optimize, and distribute your lead magnet. To get started, visit their homepage and click the big red button that says, “Get Started”. To continue, click the big green button that says, “Create a Free Account”. This will take you to their registration page where you can enter a username and password.
