The Clickfunnels form builder is a web application that allows you to create online forms without any coding experience. It’s a very easy tool to use and gives you the ability to create just about any kind of form you could imagine using online surveys to collect data.
One of the things that makes the form builder so powerful is the fact that it comes with a library of pre-made UI elements and widgets that you can use to quickly build complex forms.
In this article, you’re going to learn how to upload images in the Clickfunnels form builder and how to make the most of it.
The Importance of Images In Forms
Before we begin, it’s important to understand the significance of images in forms. Simply put, images are very important in forming an impression about a company or brand. It’s well-established that photos of people and brands can work together to boost trust and likeability.
There is also a lot of evidence to suggest that photos can have a positive impact on conversion. While we can’t say for sure, it’s a fair assumption that a form with a pretty picture on it will get more clicks than one without.
With that said, let’s get into the steps.
Step One: Register For A Free Account
The first thing you need to do to start using the form builder is to register for an account. This is completely free and it only takes a few minutes. Once you’ve registered, you’ll get a confirmation email which will also include a link to verify your email address.
Additionally, when you create your account, you’ll have the option to choose a different password. It is recommended that you write down your password in a safe place so that you can easily access it whenever you need it. This will help prevent you from accidentally resetting your password and losing access to your account.
Step Two: Log In To Your Account
Once you’ve registered and logged in, you’ll see that your dashboard is loaded with various useful tools and widgets that you can use to create a complete form. You can add more fields by clicking “+Add Field” at the top right of any form field.
From the dashboard, you can also access your account settings and the library of form components that you can use to build your form.
Step Three: Build Your Form
Now that you’ve got your tools, you can start building your form. To do this, click the “Form” icon in the top right corner of your dashboard. This will open up a small box with directions on how to build your form. You can either choose to build the form from scratch or you can click the “+” icon to access the library of pre-made UI elements and widgets that you can use to build your form.
There is also a preview function located at the top right of the box which allows you to quickly see how your form will look like once you’re finished.
Step Four: Test Your Form
Once you’ve built your form, it’s time to test it and make sure everything is working properly. To do this, click the “Survey” icon in the top right corner of your dashboard. This will open up a small box where you can add a survey to your form. Once you’ve added it, you can test the form by clicking the blue button next to the question.
Now that you’ve got everything set up, it’s time to review the form and make some adjustments where necessary. Click the green button at the top right of the box to preview your form.
As you can see above, the preview function in the form builder allows you to easily see how your form looks like. However, it doesn’t show you the input fields for the questions. To view these, click the “X” located at the far right of the preview box. This will close the box and you’ll be able to see the inputs for the survey question.
Step Five: Make Some Tweaks And Final Adjustments
Now that you’ve tested your form and made all the necessary adjustments, it’s time to review it one more time and make some last-minute tweaks. To do this, click the “Form” icon in the top right corner of your dashboard. This will open up a small box where you can make some last-minute adjustments. When you’re done, click the green button at the top right to preview the form.
As you can see above, the input fields for the form are now gray instead of the original blue. This is because the form fields are set to display: none by default. To change this, you can either change the color of the text using the color picker located at the top of the form or you can add custom CSS styles to the head of your HTML file. To do this, click the “CSS” icon in the top right corner of your dashboard and add the necessary styles.
Additionally, as you can see above, I’ve added my own custom HTML heading and a background image for the form. The background image is optional but it makes the form look much more professional. To add your own heading, simply type in the text you want to appear in the heading and click the “Insert Head” button. To add a background image, in the CSS section of your dashboard, locate the “body” tag and below it, the “div” tag.
Below these two tags, you’ll see a small image that represents the body of your form. To replicate this image, simply click the “Insert Background Image” button or if you’ve already uploaded an image earlier on in the process, you can click the “Use An Image As Background” button to use it.
