This week I want to introduce you to a company that has taken the lead in creating a whole new category of affiliate products. Their flagship product is called MotherFunnel and it’s a tool that allows you to create, send out, and track all of your digital marketing communications including blog posts, product launches, email campaigns, and more. And did I mention that it’s a lot easier than ever to use?

The Basics

If you’ve been paying attention to the affiliate marketing space, you’ll know that there are a number of companies that offer similar products to ClickFunnels. The good thing about MotherFunnel is that they’ve taken the best of what those other companies had to offer and combined it with a brand new user experience.

This means that when you first log in to the platform, you’ll have access to a dashboard that is packed with features and offers a unique and seamless user experience compared to any other competitor.

You can follow the steps below to see how easy it is to create a quick and easy free website using MotherFunnel’s platform.

STEP 1: Select a domain

The first step is to pick a domain name for your website. I would recommend using a.com domain as you’ll be able to easily find a high-quality and affordable WordPress package, with a free SSL, that you can use to build your site.

You’ll also need to purchase a good premium.com domain name for your marketing efforts. For example, my own website (EricRiggs.com) is hosted on Bluehost and it costs me $2.95 per month. So, in total, I pay about $5 per month for domain names.

STEP 2: Install WordPress

Now that you have your domain name, you can install WordPress. If you’re new to WordPress, you might want to consider using a premium hosting service which will make setting up and running your website much easier. You can also use a free WordPress.com account which means that you’re not locked into any kind of hosting plan if you don’t want to be.

STEP 3: Customize your site with a simple theme

After you’ve installed WordPress, the next step is to customize it with a simple theme. If you’re looking for a high-quality, free theme, I would recommend StudioPress’ Underscores theme which is suitably minimal yet functional.

The good thing about choosing a simple theme is that it keeps things simple and you won’t end up with tons of extra features that you don’t need. Just remember to activate the theme’s feature-laden Pro version once you’ve launched your site into production.

STEP 4: Add some initial content

Once you’ve launched your website, the next step is to add some initial content. You can do this in a variety of ways including:

  • Writing a blog post
  • Creating a product review (this is pretty easy – just find a product that is related to your niche and then create a comparison review using the same format as the one on this website)
  • Responding to comments or questions on your blog posts (you can do this via email or by creating new blog posts)
  • And the list goes on

It’s important to keep in mind that this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to content that you may want to create. As you get more comfortable with the platform, you can start to think of different ways to engage with your audience.

STEP 5: Customize your social accounts

The last step of the five-step process is to customize your social accounts. You can do this by connecting your email accounts, filling out your profile information on social media, and selecting relevant pictures for your bio.

You’ll want to make sure that you connect your social accounts to your website before you start sending out any marketing emails. When you do this, you’ll be able to keep track of all of your blog posts and website content from one place. And don’t worry — this is pretty straightforward stuff to do.
