If you’ve ever built a funnel, you will know how frustrating it can be to have the images on a card or a web page resize on every single click. Resizing images is both time-consuming and incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, if you need to make any changes after you’ve uploaded them, you’ve wasted even more time. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just upload the images once and have them stay the same size forever? That’s exactly what full-screen background images are for.

If you’re using ClickFunnels, you’re in luck because they’ve got you covered with their full-screen background feature. With this feature, you can upload a single image and have it display on all of your pages, regardless of whether they’re inside a funnel or not. Additionally, you can change the image on a per-page basis, so if you’ve got an e-commerce store, you can have a different image displayed on your product pages than on your checkout pages. It’s great when you’re running a business and want to have a bit of a creative outlet without having to worry about the smaller things that could cause you stress.

Creating Your Full-Screen Background Image

As with any feature on ClickFunnels, you can use their default settings or you can change things up and make the process a bit more streamlined. When you upload your image, it will appear in the upper left-hand corner of your web page. Above the image, you’ll see a grey box that contains some basic information about the image: The file name, image size, and URL.

As with any other aspect of your web page, you can add text to describe the image or position it somewhere else on the page. For example, you might want to put a title above your image and use the space below to explain what the image is or how the user can benefit from it.

Using The Full-Screen Background Image On Your Funnel Pages

Once you’ve uploaded your full-screen background image, you can use the settings inside of ClickFunnels to swap it out on all of your funnel page headers. To do this, click on the small arrow next to the title of any funnel page (in the upper left-hand corner) and select Header. From here, you can select the Image option and use the Upload button to browse your computer or the Cloud for the image you’d like to use. Once you’ve found it, you can click Open and the image will replace the default image.

One of the great things about the image being open for all your pages is the fact that you can have multiple images next to each other without any of them resizing themselves. If you’ve ever tried to do this with a regular background image, you’ll know how tedious and frustrating it can be. With multiple images next to each other, the spacing between them is irrelevant and they all resize themselves accordingly. It’s like putting a picture of a mountain on a desert island. All the other pictures around it will adjust their size to fit.
