Often when people think about affiliate marketing and sales funnels, they automatically think about funnel hacks and shortcuts. While those are very helpful, you shouldn’t underestimate the power of a quality link from a well-known brand. In this article, we’ll discuss step-by-step how to link your ActiveCampaign account to your ClickFunnels account.

Step 1: Create a new funnel in ClickFunnels.

If you’re reading this, I assume you’re already somewhat familiar with ClickFunnels. If you’re not, it’s about time you were! With ClickFunnels, creating a new funnel is very simple. All you need to do is click the +New Funnel button in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard, and then fill out the details about your new funnel (i.e., name, description, and a pricing plan).

Once you click the Create button, you’ll be taken to your New Funnel page, where you can review the details of your new funnel before executing the action.

Step 2: Link your ActiveCampaign account to your ClickFunnels account.

To link your ActiveCampaign account to your ClickFunnels account, visit the Account page of your ActiveCampaign account. Then, in the top right-hand corner, you’ll see a gear icon… click it to bring up your Account Settings page.

On the Account Settings page, you’ll see a Link to Twitter button and a Link to Facebook button. Both of these buttons allow you to link your account with other social media platforms, like Twitter and Facebook. To connect your ActiveCampaign account to your ClickFunnels account, simply click the Twitter button or the Facebook button.

If you already have a Linkedin account, you can connect your LinkedIn profile to your ActiveCampaign account. Simply visit the Account Settings page of your LinkedIn account, and then click the Linkedin button.

Once you’ve linked your ActiveCampaign account to your LinkedIn account, you can click the gear icon on the Account Settings page to bring up your Account Settings page, where you can review important information about your account, like avatar, password, and email notifications.

Step 3: Create a new email notification for your new funnel.

Since you just linked your ActiveCampaign account to your ClickFunnels account, you already have a New Funnel page. As mentioned above, New Funnel pages are very simple to create within ClickFunnels. To create an email notification for your new funnel, all you need to do is enter a name for your new email notification in the text box on your New Funnel page, and then click the Create button.

From the details page that you just created, you can then click the Forward button at the top-right corner to have email notifications sent to you as soon as a new lead or customer signs up for your affiliate program through your affiliate links.

Step 4: Test the new link.

Now that you’ve built a working link between your ActiveCampaign account and your ClickFunnels account, it’s time to test the link and see how it performs. To do this, you can click the gear icon on the Account Settings page of your ActiveCampaign account, and then select the Test link option. After clicking the option, you’ll be taken to a new page where you can insert a link into a text field and click the red +Get Link button.

Once you’ve created a working link between your ActiveCampaign and ClickFunnels accounts, you can test the link by inserting it into a blog post or a website page. To do this, click the gear icon on the Account Settings page of your ActiveCampaign account, and then select the Page option. Next, click the button to go to the Dashboard, and from there you can click on a blog article or website page to go to that specific post or webpage.

Now when visitors click on your affiliate link, they’ll be taken to your ClickFunnels account, where they’ll be immersed in content curated from multiple sources including your blog, if you use a blog to promote your affiliate program.

Step 5: Monitor your affiliate earnings.

Once you’ve started getting a trickle of leads coming in from your new affiliate program, it’s time to begin monitoring your earnings. To do this, visit the Affiliates page in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard. Here, you can see a chart showing your earnings from all of your affiliate programs. Simply click the gear icon to bring up your Account Settings page, and then select the Monitored option.

From there, you can select the type of report that you want to see (i.e., Total Earnings, Top Earners, etc.) and how you want to see those numbers summarized (i.e., as average, minimum, or maximum). Once you’ve made your selections, click the Monitored button to execute the action.

If you notice that your income is lower than you’d like it to be, you can adjust your affiliate programs to see more leads come in, or you can choose to change the type of report that you want to see on the Affiliates page.
