Are you looking for a way to easily send out mass emails, perhaps in the form of a newsletter or company announcement? If so, you’ll want to learn how to properly set up email campaign in ClickFunnels. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to effortlessly set up and send out a variety of email campaigns using the platform. It doesn’t matter what sort of business you’re in or what sort of industry you’re in, there’s always a way to use email to grow your business.
Step 1: Sign Up For A Free Account
The first thing you’ll want to do is sign up for a free account with ClickFunnels. This doesn’t require you to enter your credit card information, as you’ll be able to setup your account with a Gmail address and then verify your email address later on during the sign-up process. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be able to click on the Settings button at the top right of your page to access the account settings.
Step 2: Configure The Email Settings
After you’ve signed up and are looking at the Settings page, you’ll notice that there are a number of fields that you can configure. The first thing you might want to do is switch to the Protocol tab and change the value in the field from submission to Plain Text. This will ensure that your emails are not being detected as spam and help get your email delivered correctly.
Next, you may want to change the delivery method to SenderPaid. This is a paid service that simplifies sending mail for large businesses. Finally, you may want to un-check the Use Signature Stamp option under the Envelope tab. This will ensure that your emails don’t have a signature attached when they are mailed. You’ll want to keep the Use Signature option checked when you’re using a service like Hello Fresh or Just Eats for your food delivery.
Step 3: Set Up Your Campaign In The Builder
Now that you’ve configured the SMTP setup in ClickFunnels, you can easily create email campaigns in the Builder. When you launch your email campaign, you’ll be presented with a number of options, as seen in the below screenshot. Simply choose the ones that you think you’ll use most frequently and click on the Get Started button at the top right to continue.
From there, you can choose from a variety of drag-and-drop elements, text boxes, images, and other content pieces that you can use to craft your email content.
You may also want to look into implementing a strategy to automatically follow up with new leads. To do this, create a drip campaign that will send out a series of emails to your potential customers once they’ve expressed interest in your product or service. You can also use automation software like HubSpot to follow up with new leads and customers.
Step 4: Preview & Send Your Email
Once you’ve finished creating your email, you can preview it in your browser. Hit the Preview button to the right of the Get Started button to get an idea of how the email will look when it’s finally received. Then, you can click on the Send button to launch the email campaign.
You’ll notice that there are a number of options presented to you. Depending on your experience level, you may want to change a few things before sending out the email. For example, you may want to replace the text in the subject line with a more relevant keyword. You can also ask customers to opt-in to get regular company updates or offer them a discount if they subscribe to your newsletter.
Keep in mind that there are a few things that you need to check before you send out your email. First, make sure that you’ve followed all the steps correctly. If you did, then you can rest assured that your email will be delivered successfully.
In addition, make sure that you’ve followed the guidelines regarding the use of open-ended and ambiguous language. Otherwise, you may end up with a lot of bounced emails (emails that are returned as undeliverable).
And last but not least, make sure that you’ve got plenty of good content to include in your email. Otherwise, you may end up with a lot of unsubscribers (people who’ve opted-out of receiving your emails) or even worse—your email may be deemed spam and your IP address may be banned from emailing certain domains.
Hopefully, this article has helped you understand how to setup SMTP configuration in ClickFunnels and how to use the platform to efficiently send emails. If you’ve been considering trying out ClickFunnels or any other email marketing platform, then this article should help get you started.
