You’ve built a magnificent funnel. Thousands of people visit your web pages each month, and they all have one thing in common—they all want to become a paying customer. But now that the fun and the games are over, it’s time for you to move to the next phase of your business.
Whether you’re an affiliate marketer, selling your own products, or hosting a membership site, you’ve been providing value to people and now it’s time to collect on that value. You want to move your customers to take advantage of the free offers, special discounts, and convenient delivery they’ve learned to love. But how can you do this seamlessly and without losing any of the conversions you worked so hard to achieve?
If you’re using ClickFunnels, the answer is pretty straightforward. You can transition seamlessly from one to the other with the help of a few simple tools. Let’s get started.
Importing From ClickFunnels
The first step in this process is to click the “Download a Sample Plan” button at the bottom of any page on the ClickFunnels website. This will take you to a special area where you can get a quick glimpse of how OptimizePress will transform your life and business. Once you’re completely sold, return to the previous page and click the “Get Started” button.
You’ll now see a form that allows you to input your email address. Simply enter your email address and click the “Send me the free trial” button. This will download and install the OptimizePress software package onto your computer.
Once complete, click the “Launch the Editor” button to open up the WordPress interface. You’ll see a few sample posts already written by the team at OptimizePress. You can either click on any of these posts to read the story or you can head to the homepage and begin to write your own post.
Writing and Publishing Your Own Blog Post
As you begin to write your own blog post, you’ll notice that the WordPress interface is very similar to that of a desktop publishing program like Microsoft Publisher or Adobe InDesign. This is because WordPress was originally designed to be a content-driven website and all the functionality is there to help you get your content out there as quickly and efficiently as possible. While there are many similarities between these two pieces of software and the learning curve can be pretty steep, once you get used to it, producing beautiful, polished content is only a few short clicks away.
Editing And Updating Your Blog Post
Once your blog post is published, you can click the “New Post” button at the top of any page to write and publish another blog post. When you’re happy with your post, simply click the “Edit Post” button to make changes. And while you’re there, you can click the “Update Post” button to publish those changes to your site immediately.
Now let’s take a look at how to move a single funnel from ClickFunnels to OptimizePress.
From ClickFunnels to OptimizePress: A Step-by-Step Guide
To transfer a single funnel from your CLICKFUNNELS account to the OptimizePress platform, follow these simple steps:
Log into your CLICKFUNNELS account. You’ll find this under the Settings menu located at the top of any page. From here, click on the “Integrations” tab.
Click the “+ADD Integration” button. You’ll see a bunch of different services here. For the purpose of this tutorial, we’ll be using the “Send Traffic to OptimizePress” add-on.
Scroll down and you’ll see a few different places you can enter your email address. Simply enter the email address for the account you want to import from and click the “Send” button.
After submitting your email address, you’ll see a confirmation email from ClickFunnels. Click the “ClickFunnels” link in the email to continue to the dashboard. On the right side of the page, you’ll see a few different metrics about the amount of traffic sent to OptimizePress. Simply follow the instructions there to get started.
To finish the process, you’ll need to click the “Import” button. This will bring you back to the main dashboard of your CLICKFUNNELS account. You can now find the “Import” button at the top of any page. This will complete the transfer and you’ll be able to find the button in the same place on the OptimizePress platform.
If you want to transfer more than one funnel, you can repeat steps 1 through 4. Simply log into your CLICKFUNNELS account and follow the steps. Make sure when you’re clicking the “+ADD Integration” button that you don’t have anything else selected. You don’t want to accidentally merge your accounts. Or, if you did, it’d be easy to revert back to the previous state of affairs.
When you’re finished mapping out your content and trying out the new platform, you can click the “Manage all aspects of my account” button to access all of your account settings. From here, you can log into your email address to verify you’re a real person and not a robot. You can also find a link to download your WordPress installation file and reset your password.
