Nowadays, it’s used for all kinds of businesses – regardless of whether they sell products online or not.

Creating A Landing Page For Your Product

You don’t need a landing page to sell a product on Amazon. However, we recommend you create one for the following reasons:

  • it makes it easier for customers to learn about your product
  • it shows customers that you’re serious about selling the product
  • it provides a basis for SEO

You can use the ‘Product page’ in Squarespace to create a basic landing page for your product. Alternatively, you can use another service like Unbounce or GSA for that.

Setting Up An Email List

You can also use your product page to collect emails. When customers click on the ‘Buy’ button on your product page, they’ll be directed to a ‘Subscribe’ page. On this page, you can ask customers if they’d like to receive emails when you’ve got new listings or discounts available. You can use a tool like MailChimp to create an email list. You can also use the same page to add another form of content: a video, an audio file, or a combination of the two. We’ve even seen people use this space to display a Google Maps location with directions to their physical address.
