This is when the entire process starts to resemble a traditional funnel. This type of funnel is great for lead generation and attracting new customers.
Second, there’s the middle-of-funnel (MOFU) approach. This is when a business creates a trial or free version of their product or service. With an MOFU funnel, the sales funnel starts after the customer decides to try the product or service. There’s no upfront marketing push to get the customer to take action. This is where behavioral psychology comes in. You’re trying to get the customer to take the desired action – subscribe, consume, or buy – at the point of the trial.
