Do you have a fun new idea you want to get off the ground? Started a business recently but feel like you’re lacking the know-how to get the word out there? Or perhaps you’ve been dreaming about becoming a full-time writer and now have the itch to write your first book? Whatever your reasons for wanting to become a publisher, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll teach you the ins and outs of submitting text to ClickFunnels so you can begin creating high-quality content and start making money online without any experience.

What is ClickFunnels?

Before we begin, it’s important to point out what ClickFunnel is and what it is not. Although the platform was created to help businesses establish websites and grow online stores, it is not meant to replace your daily routine. When you sign up for a free account with ClickFunnels, you will be provided with a shopping cart where you can start adding products from different online stores. When a customer purchases something from your store, you will receive commission — not the other way around. That being said, you can use the platform to its full capacity to create beautiful sales pages that will convert browsers into paying customers.

To get started, simply click here to go to the homepage. From there, you will see the area where you can click to add products from different online stores (Figure 1).

Why Should You Be Selecting ClickFunnels?

As mentioned above, not all of the products you will see on the Add to Cart button are necessarily intended for purchase. When a customer clicks that button, they are usually presented with a pop-up or a lightbox indicating there are other products they can choose from (Figure 2).

What this means is that you have the ability to up-sale different products and collect repeat orders for the same products without having to worry about collecting the same person’s information more than once. You can also use ClickFunnels to create high-quality content and launch your own products or offerings without having to worry about collecting the information of a first-time visitor to your site, which you might use for future marketing.

How Do I Get Started With ClickFunnels?

If you’ve decided that you’d like to use ClickFunnels to get your business off the ground, the first step is to go to the homepage and click the big, purple “Get Started” button (Figure 3).

This will take you to the sign-up page, where you will need to enter your email address and a password (Figure 4).

Make sure you use a password that is at least six characters and contains numbers, symbols, and uppercase and lowercase letters.

Once you’ve signed up, you will be taken to the dashboard. From there, you can access your email and click to confirm your account (Figure 5).

You’ll then be able to take advantage of the various tools and features the platform has to offer to create marketing materials and grow your business.

Where Can I Find Help?

As with any new endeavor, there will be questions that arise and need to be answered. To get started, head to the Help Center, which can be accessed by clicking the question mark icon in the top right corner of the dashboard (Figure 6).

From there, you can search for answers to your questions using the search bar or browse through the frequently asked questions (FAQs) to find the answers you need.

You can also reach out directly to the Support team by clicking the “Contact Us” link in the top right corner of the dashboard. Finally, be sure to check out the rest of the FAQs and refer to the documentation that is available online should you encounter any difficulties.

What Are The Next Steps For Me?

Once you’ve signed up for a free account with ClickFunnels, the next step is to verify your email and click the confirmation link that will be sent to you (Figure 7).

This will then direct you to the dashboard, where you can begin making modifications to the marketing material you’ve created.

Why is this step important? Without being able to verify your email, you cannot make any changes to your website. Doing so will leave you locked out of your account until you can verify that you control the email address.

How Do I Change The Design Of My Website?

To modify the appearance of your website, navigate to the Appearance section from the dashboard. Alternatively, you can access this section from the homepage (Figure 8).

Here you can make changes to the general layout and design of your site, including the colors, fonts, and even images used for the elements (like the buttons and links).

Why is this step important? Design is important because you want your site to look consistent across all devices and browsers. Plus, you have the ability to make modifications as you go along, so if you find that a certain design isn’t working for you, you can make changes and test out different options

By taking the time to find a design that suits your needs, you can ensure that your site looks as good as new and that your effort is not gone in vain.

As mentioned above, you can make changes to the general layout and design of your website from the Appearance section. However, if you want to make more specific changes, you’ll need to go into the backend and modify the code. For more information on code, navigate to the Help Center within the platform and search for “code.”

Can I Launch My Own Product Or Service?

Yes, you can launch your own product or service and make money online using the platform. When you sign up for a free account with ClickFunnels, you are provided with a shopping cart for adding products from different online stores. As a retailer, whenever a customer makes a purchase, you will receive a commission.

You can use any email provider or telephone number to receive the commission — even a P.O. Box.

To get started, navigate to the Shopping Cart section from the dashboard (Figure 9).

Here, you can add the products you’ve selected to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page. When you reach that page, you will need to enter your shipping and payment information. Most importantly, you will need to install a credit card processor if you don’t already have one (Figure 10).

After you have installed the processor and made the necessary payment, you can click the button that says “Launch” (Figure 11).

What this will do is take you to a new page where you can define the terms of the product or service and set the price. You can use the platform’s pricing tools or create a custom plan for the service you are providing (Figure 12).

Once you’ve set the price and terms, you can click the button that says “Create Product” or “Create Service.” This will then take you to a new page where you can input the description of the product or service, as well as upload any relevant images (Figure 13).

ClickFunnels also offers a WordPress plugin that you can use to create and launch websites using the platform. To use this plugin, navigate to the WordPress section from the dashboard and click the green “+ WordPress” button (Figure 14).

This will take you to a page where you can choose the type of site you want to create (Figure 15) and then enter the necessary information (Figure 16).

After you’ve entered the information and confirmed it, you can install the WordPress plugin and login to the dashboard to begin making changes.

To create a product, navigate to the Product section of the WordPress dashboard and click the “+ Product” button (Figure 17).

This will take you to a page where you can enter the information for your product including the name, description, pricing, and specifications (Figure 18).

To create a service, navigate to the Services section of the WordPress dashboard and click the “+ Service” button (Figure 19).

This will take you to a page where you can enter the information for your service including the name, description, pricing, and terms (Figure 20).

As with any new endeavor, there are dozens of things you’ll need to think about. Keeping track of the countless details that come with running a business can be challenging. Luckily, with the help of ClickFunnels, you can put all of that stress away and enjoy the simple act of converting browsers into paying customers.
